Designing Your Kid’s Room

Designing Your Kid’s Room

When a baby is born, he fills the heart with love, not only the closest people - moms and dads, but also all the numerous relatives. Now the world revolves only around him: the dear child gets a beautiful stroller, high-quality clothing, and even an entire room is isolated to the needs of the baby.
How to design the nursery, what furniture to choose so that your baby feels comfortable and safe?

As a rule, experts insist that kid’s room should "grow" with your child.

loft bedProducers have picked up this claim, and now produce functional furniture that is just right for little explorers. This furniture is easy to combine several functions. For example, a loft bed can combine the bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers for storing clothes and toys, or another option - bed work area, which has shelves for books, tables and even a pull-out desk.

While the baby is little, play area should occupy most of the space of the room, but as they grow older children's play area is reduced by extending the work area - desk, shelves and cabinets. Forget about the sharp corners and protrusions in the interior; do not clutter the room with furniture and the presence of useless decoration. On the floor lay a laminate or linoleum - it is easy to wash off not only spilled juice, but even sticky chewing gum. And forget about the thick carpets (especially on walls), which collect dust and cause allergies!

lighting in kid's roomIf we talk about the building materials used for finishing the nursery, they should be clean and safe for the young pioneer. Decorating the walls can do with wallpaper or other materials, most importantly, that they are harmless to children's health. The ceilings of plasterboard, for example, can "hide" lights of different colors, which can easily perform the role of a lamp.

Here's the thing - develop fantasy and imagination of your baby even with the help of non-standard methods, such as the interior of a kid's room.
